US To Hit India, China With Reciprocal Tariffs From THIS Date, Trump’s BIG Announcement At Congress Session

<p>US President Donald Trump, in his joint address to the Congress on Tuesday, announced that the United States will impose reciprocal tariffs on India, China, and other countries from April 2.</p>
<p>Trump said that ‘India and other are charging US huge tariffs’ and added that this was part of his plan to make ‘America rich again and great again.'</p>
<p>President Trump said, “Other countries have used tariffs against us for decades and now it is our turn to start using them against those other countries. On average, the European Union, China, Brazil, India…and countless other nations charge us tremendously higher tariffs than we charge them, it is very unfair. India charges us auto tariffs 100%…the system is not fair to US, it never was…on April 2, reciprocal tariffs kick in and whatever they tariff us, other countries, we will tariff them…whatever they tax us, we will tax them. If they do non-monetary tariff to keep us out of their market, then we will do non-monetary barriers to keep them out of our market…”</p>

<p>He also said that the US ‘will take in trillions and trillions of dollars and create jobs like we have never seen before’ and noted that ‘we’ve been ripped off for decades by every country on earth, and we will not let that happen any longer’.</p>
<h2>Rep Al Green Removed For Disrupting Trump’s Congress Speech</h2>
<p>Earlier, Democratic Rep Al Green, who represents Texas’ 9th Congressional district, was removed from the House chamber after disrupting Trump’s joint address to Congress.</p>
<p>In the opening minutes of Trump’s speech, Green stood and shook his cane toward the president. He has long pushed to impeach Trump dating to his previous term in office.&nbsp;</p>
