China Hits US With Retaliatory Tariffs On Key American Farm Exports

<p>After US President Donald Trump announced double tariffs on China, making it 20%, China has responded with additional tariffs of 10% – 15% on certain US imports from March 10 and a series of new export restrictions for designated US entities. It further announced plans to bring a case to the World Trade Organization.&nbsp;</p>
<p>A government statement said that an additional 15% duty would be imposed on imports of US poultry and agricultural products, including wheat, corn, and cotton, while a 10% tariff would apply to imports of soybeans, pork, beef, fruit, vegetables, and dairy products.</p>
