Donald Trump Tells Cabinet, Inner Circle That Elon Musk Will Leave White House Soon: Report

<p>US President Donald Trump has told his inner circle and members of his cabinet that Elon Musk will be stepping back in the coming weeks from his current role in the White House, a report has said.</p>
<p>A report in The Politico said that though the US president remains pleased with Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) initiative, both men have decided in recent days that it will soon be time for Musk to return to his businesses.</p>
<p>Trump had tasked the Tesla CEO to lead efforts to cut government funding and dismantle various US agencies as a special government employee.&nbsp;</p>
