WhatsApp Reportedly Working on Shorter Disappearing Messages Timers

WhatsApp launched the Disappearing Messages feature in November 2020. Initially, the company only allowed users to either turn the feature on or off, with the messages getting automatically deleted after seven days. WhatsApp later started rolling out timers for the same, where people could choose to get their messages to disappear as early as 24 hours. Now, the company is reportedly working on offering even shorter timers for disappearing messages.
