Trump’s Fresh Threat To Harvard University After Freezing $2B Funding: ‘To Be Taxed As A Political Entity’

<p>US President Donald Trump on Tuesday warned Harvard University that its tax-exempt status could be revoked if it keeps pushing what he claimed “political, ideological and terrorist-inspired sickness”.</p>
<p>”Perhaps Harvard should lose its Tax Exempt Status and be Taxed as a Political Entity if it keeps pushing political, ideological, and terrorist inspired/supporting &ldquo;Sickness?&rdquo; Remember, Tax Exempt Status is totally contingent on acting in the PUBLIC INTEREST!” the US President wrote on his Truth Social platform.</p>
<p>The reaction comes shortly after the Trump administration froze more than $2 billion in federal funds for Harvard University, hours after the elite college rejected a list of demands from the White House.</p>
