Perplexity’s AI-Powered Comet Browser Is Now Available to All Users for Free

Perplexity has rolled out its AI-powered Comet browser for all users, CEO Aravind Srinivas announced on Thursday. Previously limited to Perplexity Max subscribers and invite-only access, the browser is now open on Windows and Mac, with mobile apps in development. A key feature of the browser is the sidebar AI assistant, which can summarise content, analyse web pages, and perform agentic tasks.
