by aweeincm

The Pakistan government has suspended mobile and internet services in Islamabad and Rawalpindi ahead of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan’s (TLP) planned ‘Labbaik Ya Aqsa Million March’ on Friday, sealing all entry and exit routes to the capital. The move follows violent clashes in Lahore between police and TLP members during anti-Israel demonstrations, leaving at least five police constables and over a dozen TLP workers injured, with the TLP claiming one worker killed and 20 injured. Authorities have imposed Section 144 across Punjab for 10 days, banning protests, rallies, and public gatherings, while Rawalpindi and Islamabad remain on high alert. Additional police and paramilitary forces have been deployed to maintain law and order.
