Microsoft Introduces Windows Update Orchestration Platform to Deliver Third-Party App Updates

Microsoft announced on Wednesday that it is now opening Windows Update to third-party apps. For this, the Redmond-based tech giant is introducing the Windows Update orchestration platform, which will allow third-party app developers to schedule updates in unison with Windows updates. The company has mentioned several benefits to developers, such as letting the app update notifications be carried on Windows’ native notifications.
