Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 dropped the ability to measure a wearer’s blood oxygen levels in the US due to a 2024 ruling. The restriction was imposed on the Cupertino company after a lawsuit was filed by a medical instrument manufacturer. Recently, the tech giant announced that it has brought the feature back for its Watch Series 10, Series 9, and Ultra 2. This pushed Masimo to file a lawsuit again, but this time against the US Customs and Border Protection.
