‘Look At All The Guns’: Viral Video Shows YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra’s ‘VIP’ Security In Pak Amid Spy Probe

<p>A video posted by a Scotland-based content creator and YouTuber has added fuel to the controversy surrounding Jyoti Malhotra, a Haryana-based YouTuber accused of spying for Pakistan. In the footage, Malhotra can be seen vlogging in Lahore&rsquo;s New Anarkali Bazaar, but what has stunned viewers is the presence of several security personnel allegedly escorting her&mdash;some visibly armed with AK-47 rifles.</p>
<p>The <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=if2nAJu9H88″><strong>video</strong></a>, uploaded by Scottish YouTuber Callum two month ago, captures Jyoti surrounded by gunmen, believed to be Pakistani security personnel. These men, dressed in semi-formal attire, are seen giving her VIP-level protection. Their jackets are emblazoned with the phrase &ldquo;No Fear&rdquo;.</p>
<p>Narrating his experience in the video, Callum commented on the heavy security, saying, &ldquo;This is an Indian girl; she is the one with all the guys, with all this security. &ldquo;I don’t know what the need for all these guns are. Look at all the guns she has got surrounding her,&rdquo; he remarked, while highlighting the armed personnel encircling Jyoti.</p>
<p>&ldquo;If you have the level of security surrounding it makes the place look unsafe,&rdquo; he further said.</p>
<p>This video has once again brought Jyoti Malhotra&rsquo;s alleged connections to Pakistan under the scanner. It has raised several pressing questions: Is she merely a travel vlogger, or is there a deeper agenda at play? Why did she require such high-profile protection in Pakistan? Were the guards seen in the video actually government agents or just private bouncers hired for appearance?</p>
<p>It is worth noting that Jyoti Malhotra was arrested in Haryana on charges of espionage for Pakistan. She is accused of being in contact with a staff member at the Pakistani High Commission in India and sharing sensitive information.</p>
<p>Malhotra was arrested earlier this month on charges of spying for Pakistan. She is currently under investigation for allegedly sharing sensitive information with a Pakistani High Commission staffer identified as Ehsan-ul-Rahim alias Danish. As per the First Information Report, she had been in contact with Danish since November 2023. On 13 May, the Indian government expelled Danish for his alleged involvement in espionage activities.</p>
<p>According to police officials, Jyoti Malhotra operated a YouTube channel and was among twelve individuals arrested from Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh on suspicion of espionage. She was booked on 16 May under provisions of the Official Secrets Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (formerly Indian Penal Code).</p>
<h3><strong>Jyoti Malhotra Sent To 14-Day Judicial Custody By Hisar Court</strong></h3>
<p>Jyoti Malhotra had previously been taken into police remand twice, and following the completion of her third nine-day remand, she was sent to 14-day judicial custody by the Hisar Court on Monday.</p>
<p>Investigative agencies, including the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Intelligence Bureau (IB), and Military establishment, have interrogated her during the course of the probe. Preliminary findings have revealed that she travelled not only to Pakistan but also to countries like China, Bangladesh, and Indonesia. Police suspect that Pakistan&rsquo;s intelligence agency had been cultivating her as an asset.</p>
