Is OpenAI About to Go Public? New Non-Binding Microsoft Deal Signals IPO Plans

OpenAI’s path towards acquiring more investors or going public has been cleared by Microsoft. The two entities signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Thursday and called it the next phase of their partnership. This MoU also gives the San Francisco-based AI firm to now formalise the conversion of its for-profit arm into a PBC.
