Google is reportedly to be working to modify the AOD feature in Android 17. The company could release a new”Min Mode” which could allow third-party apps to display their own persistent, minimalist interfaces directly on the AOD. Google Maps is expected to use this feature first. The ‘Min Mode’ may allow display of the full-screen application interface.
