Dutch Government Collapses Amid Migration Policy Standoff

<p>The Dutch coalition has collapsed following a deadlock over far-right leader Geert Wilders&rsquo; Freedom Party proposal to tighten migration policies.</p>
<p>Wilders announced on X that his party &ldquo;is leaving the coalition&rdquo; after other parties declined to approve his additional demands.</p>
<h2>Dutch Coalition Collapses</h2>
<p>Dutch far-right leader Geert Wilders announced on Tuesday that his PVV party is exiting the governing coalition, effectively bringing down the right-wing government.</p>
<p>Wilders said the decision was prompted by the coalition partners&rsquo; refusal to back his proposed plans to halt asylum migration, which he had pushed for immediate approval last week.</p>
<p>Posting on X, he wrote, &ldquo;No signature under our asylum plans. The PVV leaves the coalition.&rdquo;</p>
