BSNL and the Department of Posts have entered into a one-year agreement to provide BSNL SIM cards and mobile recharge facilities through India Post’s vast network of 1.65 lakh post offices. Under this partnership, BSNL will deliver SIM inventory and training, while post offices will manage customer onboarding and secure transactions. Following a successful trial run in Assam, the initiative is now set for a nationwide rollout to enhance telecom connectivity in underserved and remote regions.
