Earlier, Sri Lanka all-rounder Dasun Shanaka smashed an unbeaten 64 off just 37 balls as they posted a total of 168/7 in 20 overs against Bangladesh in their Asia Cup 2025 Super Four clash, in Dubai. Shanaka starred, rescuing Sri Lanka’s innings, to set Bangladesh a target of 169. For Bangladesh, pacer Mustafizur Rahman scalped three wickets, while spinner Mahedi Hasan picked up two, after captain Litton Das opted to bowl. This is the first match of the Super Four stage.
