Apple’s hypertension detection feature will reportedly launch next week on the Apple Watch Series 11 and Watch Ultra 3 following FDA clearance, and will also be available on Series 9, Series 10, and Watch Ultra 2 models. Available in 150 countries, including the US, Hong Kong, and the EU, the feature uses the Apple Watch’s optical heart sensor to monitor blood vessel responses over 30 days. Users showing signs of chronic hypertension or high blood pressure will receive alerts and be advised to consult a healthcare professional.
