India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), which aims to provide banking services in the remotest regions of India, was unveiled in the country with 650 branches and 3,250 access points. It was first launched by the Prime Minister in September 2018. The IPPB is linked to 1.55 lakh post offices in India, allowing Indians to access their savings and current accounts. However, if you do not wish to visit a physical brand or an access point, you can use IPPB’s SMS and Missed Call banking services to check your account balance or get a mini bank statement on your phone.
