Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 chipset could support up to LPDDR 6 RAM and UFS 5.0 storage, according to a tipster. If this is true, then the rumoured SoC, which is expected to launch next year, could offer significant upgrades over Qualcomm’s current flagship 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which supports up to LPDDR5X RAM. Moreover, the company is tipped to use TSMC’s N2P technology to fabricate the chip. Various reports suggest that Apple and Samsung are also developing 2nm chips, dubbed A20 and Exynos 2600, respectively.
