Vivo and iQOO smartphones in India may soon transition from Funtouch OS to Origin OS, according to recent leaks, though no official confirmation has been made. A Reddit user claiming to be a Vivo India employee suggested Origin OS 6, based on Android 16, could roll out in India, beginning with flagship models before expanding to mid-range and budget devices. Meanwhile, Vivo has officially announced that Android 16-based Origin OS 6 will debut in China on October 10.
