Nvidia has announced a $5 billion investment in Intel as part of a wider partnership to co-develop AI infrastructure and PC chipsets. The deal, subject to regulatory approval, will integrate Intel’s x86 CPUs with Nvidia’s RTX GPUs via NVLink. Both firms will also build custom CPUs and SoCs, aiming to strengthen Intel’s AI position amid market struggles.
