Spotify has launched Lossless audio for Premium users in select markets, with rollout expanding to over 50 countries by October. Subscribers are notified when available and must enable it manually on each device, choosing Wi-Fi, cellular, or downloads. Lossless streams in up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC and works on mobile, desktop, tablet, and many Spotify Connect devices. Spotify recommends Wi-Fi and wired connections for the best quality, as Bluetooth compresses the audio.
