Zelensky Calls For Regime Change In Moscow, Urges West To Seize Russian Assets

<p>Kyiv [Ukraine], August 1 (ANI): Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has urged Western nations to support regime change in Moscow to protect themselves from what he described as “Russian aggression,” RT reported.</p>
<p>Speaking virtually at a conference marking the 50th anniversary of the Helsinki Accords, Zelensky said, “I believe Russia can be pushed to stop this war… But if the world doesn’t aim to change the regime in Russia, that means even after the war ends, Moscow will still try to destabilize neighboring countries,” RT reported.</p>
<p>The Ukrainian leader also pressed for stronger financial measures against Moscow. “It’s time to confiscate Russian assets, not just freeze them,” he said, adding that Western countries should “put every frozen Russian asset… to work defending against Russian aggression.”</p>
