Tensions continue to escalate in Balochistan as Baloch fighters launched another deadly assault on the Pakistani military, killing six soldiers in a remote-controlled explosion. The blast targeted a military vehicle, completely destroying it and eliminating all personnel onboard. This marks the second major attack by Baloch insurgents on the Pakistani Army in just three days.According to reports, the Baloch National Army (BNA) has claimed responsibility for the strike, asserting that it now controls over 80% of Balochistan’s territory, a claim strongly denied by the Pakistani military. However, the continued ambushes, bombings, and increased military casualties suggest the insurgency is far from under control.Fearing rebel attacks, Pakistani troops are reportedly restricting movement between 5 PM and 5 AM in rebel-dominated zones.Meanwhile, back in India, unrest was witnessed during the Kanwar Yatra. In Uttar Pradesh’s Basti, several Kanwariyas violated traffic rules — riding overloaded bikes and vehicles without helmets. When police tried to intervene, chaos erupted. In a disturbing scene, Kanwar pilgrims allegedly vandalized police property and confronted officers who tried to protect an accused of offensive remarks against them. Despite the police pleading with folded hands, the crowd remained aggressive.
