US Asks India, Pakistan To ‘Pursue A Responsible Resolution’ Amid Escalating Tensions

<p>Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack, the United States on Sunday asked both countries to pursue a responsible resolution.</p>
<p>The US State Department said it has been in contact with both governments at multiple levels following the April 22 attack on tourists that claimed 26 lives.</p>
<p>”This is an evolving situation, and we are monitoring developments closely,” a State Department spokesperson told Reuters. “The United States encourages all parties to work together towards a responsible resolution,” the statement added.</p>
<p>The spokesperson condemned the attack, saying the US “stands with India,” echoing similar remarks from President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance.</p>
